well well, it seems that once again, Singapore's media is on a streak of Desperation. have u ever watched th spongebob episode whr he tries to be an entertainer, then gets all desperate? Well, this is rather a parallel of that. After the Hit Phua Chu Kang finally ended the crowd wants MORE. sadly, this hunger for entertainment has only been satisfied by the power of American TV and other foreign channels, thus, the local TV is moved to extremes of trying to capture local viewer's attention.

After American Idol came Singapore Idol, after So you think you can dance? came Live the Dream, and now after the smash hit America's funniest home videos, THE SINGAPORE VERSION?! honestly, THIS IS RATHER A DRAMATIC ONE! Furthermore, it is but obvious, tht the Americans are more open minded than us Singaporeans, pls Singapore Die Hards, dun flood my tagboard with an outrage, its a personal opinion... anyway, this mass lifting of foreign television shows and making them local is outrageously dumb, simply cos u are telling evryone:

LOOK HERE ALL! WE, HAVE NO IDEAS! AND WE, ARE GOING TO COPY U! AND WE, WILL BE HAPPY AND JOLLY AND PLEASED WITH THE MONEY! SO NEXT TIME, SEND US A COPY OF UR IDEAS PLEASE!!!

And to top it all off, Singapore is now in the pinnacle of its encouragement of entrepeuneurs(pardon any spelling errors)...i seriously wonder wad is the use of that all, if they cant entertain the home crowd without copying ideas.

If u think their idea is great, dun resign to using it, force urself to make something GREATER... or one day we will depend fully on them for anything related to entertainment...
